But what’s really impressive about this one is its ability to shoot five frames per second at full resolution, capturing images that can run up to 138 megabytes each. (You guessed it: The D3X is meant for the pros—or those who’d like to be.) Still, it’s a lust-worthy camera, even if its cost is similarly high-end. Expect it to be available later this month for $8,000.
